American living from JCPenney.....does that offend you since all the clothes are foreign made?

I stopped by yesterday and looked at the whole line of clothes. Inside there is a very colorful tag with a gorgeous bald eagle holding a pole in its talons with an AMERICAN flag draped over it. Nice cloth, looked okay.

BUT>>>> All the stuff was made not in AMERICA but in China, Singapore, Vietnam.

This is one insulting advertising program calling a bunch of foreign made clothes, "AMERICAN LIVING".

I swear this countries job market is going down the toilet because too many middle men are bent on making a million dollars a day even if it bankrupts the whole damned country.

People say they have to buy that stuff to save money. But, I bet they'll be howling like a scalded cat when they have to go sign up for unemployment because THEIR job was moved overseas. They always think it will be the OTHER guy.........

WAKE UP PEOPLE. Get real before its too late.

Yes, I've noticed this, too. Although, Jc Penny isn't the only one. I think the majority of the clothes sold in department stores in the US are made abroad. Especially in so-called 3rd world countries like Pakistan, Vietnam, Singapore, etc.

i'm sorry which you had such an unsightly adventure. some human beings only experience a splash threatened via foreigners and could refuse to settle for yet another lifestyle as a manner to be sure that their way of existence would not disappear. in my opinion, i think of of u.s. as a melting pot of cultures. even with the shown fact that, it somewhat isn't obvious in some aspects of the rustic. human beings have been raised to have deep satisfaction of their united states of america, often times, to the component to conceitedness. i'm an Asian American. in spite of the certainty that i admire my united states of america, i do no longer continuously take exhilaration in the hypocrisy that pops up right here and there in American society. Xenophobia is basic in different areas of the worldwide, yet u.s. is seen "the land of the loose" via her electorate. Why is this united states of america the "land of the loose" if others won't be able to freely communicate their very own language? you're able to desire to additionally understand that if electorate are loose to chat their very own language, then they are additionally loose to precise their prejudice. the place did you reside? In super cities like l. a., individuals are greater accepting of different cultures. as quickly as lower back, I ask for forgiveness on your adventure. i'm extraordinarily sorry which you have been met with an unwelcoming atmosphere, yet please do no longer decide us via the physique of recommendations and strikes of a few. no longer all of us is like that. we are only afraid. u.s. is a somewhat youthful united states of america evaluate to others so the existence-style got here upon in the rustic isn't as super as Spain or England. we don't have as plenty cultural history and traditions because of the fact the fairly some older worldwide places, and what little we've we are afraid to lose.

No it doesnt offend me but the greed of US companies who want to pay people dirt cheap so their executives can bring home seven figure salaries is one reason why jobs are going overseas. But, what else is new, the rich want to get richer, and they dont care if you starve.(Let them eat cake they say).
