WIll we be grounded? The price of gas is getting pretty high.?
Hmmmm. Have a Mazda V6. I try to use ethonal blended gas. Our transit system hereis not great. clearly improvement there would encourage people to take the bus!
WOW! We pay around $1.07 per liter.
Usually the poor are the ones that suffer most here. The people with the clunkers who are working three jobs and trying to support a family. Unless you have an old Civc or one of the few more intelligently built old clunkers. No one lets go of those babies though.

There is a guy in Calgary Alberta that has a conversion kit he designed and sells. It will convert any vehicle into a oil burning vehicle....veggie or grain oil! YES! It is funny though. He goes around to get used cooking oil from resaurants and uses it to power his vehicle. Hahaha. Apparently, the aromas from the restaraunt specialties are emitted during use. That's the only pollution from the process. Hahaha. Or, you could call it aroma therapy. ;-)

Up to you. If you can afford an Escalade, the cost of gas probably won't break you.
It doesn't cost that much to run my old Neon. Of course I've been putting more miles on my bicycle than my car for a number of years now.

Americans don't care if gas prices are high. We went to war in the middle east and that didn't go so well. We re-elected a lame duck president and that didn't go so well. Hurricane season is coming and if the gulf region gets hit we'll be paying for gas with $100 bills. Here in the Bay Area I see lots of small cars on the roads. Prius is the top seller here. I like a little more style myself. I guess having oil men running the show in D.C. and corporate America running them is working out great for the top 1%. Wake up people. Your country has been stolen and sold to the highest bidders. No bid contracts is more like it. Nader 08!

Europe has been paying $6 for petrol for decades and now they are paying well over $8 a gallon while we are now paying $3.50 in the States.
The solution is to curb your consumption. Throw out your gas guzzling SUV for a more practical car like a Civic, Corolla, Prius, Sentra, Fit or Mazda 3.

I only drive about 50 miles a week. im only 2 miles from work. I full my tank once a month. I think people will have to move closer
to work.

No way!
At $4.00 a gallon we as a nation will start changing our ways, but for now it's an inconvenience.
