Student Tax Help Need!!!?

I earned aobut $11,000 dollars last year, about $4000 was at a pharmacy where I work and the rst was at my university tutoring and fixing TVs and stuff (un-taxed). I did my taxes the other day and I owe the government $500 which might not sound like a lot to most of you but I dont have that much money lol. I file as a dependent under my parents so I didn't have any write offs like my tuition and stuff because my parents claimed all that. Is there anything I can do?? Will I get a stimulus check???

If you're claimed as a dependent you don't get a stimulus plan check. Sorry.

Your tax liability sounds about right as well. Pay as much as you can by the April 15th filing deadline to minimize the penalties and interest. Although you can enter into a payment agreement with the IRS, given the small amount that you owe it would be much cheaper to pay them off within 120 days of the filing deadline to avoid the $52 to $105 fee for the payment plan, on top of the penalties and interest.
