Lincoln didn't inherit his war from his predecessor.

Actually Lincoln was a racist. Read the debates he had with Douglas. He may have wanted to free the slaves but had no interest in making them equal to whites.

Lincoln had 9 years of elected political workplace formerly being elected President of america. Obama has 11 (8 in Illinois state legislature). President Lincoln became into greater effective than qualified to steer this us of a and became into perhaps the superb President we've ever had (Washington became into additionally impressive). On yet another notice, Hillary has 7 years of elected journey.

Lincoln did not stop a war. He was the president during one. The bloodiest war in American history to be exact. Having the capacity to be a good leader is not the same as actually being one. Only time will tell.

If Lincoln had stopped the war, Obama might well be a slave today.

Let's not compare apples to oranges. Lincoln had ONE HECK of a lot more political experience than Obama. And it is obvious that Lincoln was NOT a racist, just as it is obvious that Obama IS. The two are actually polar opposites in every way.

Abraham Lincoln was self serving (like Hillary).

He was a racist and sign the Declaration of Proclamation,

simply to win the war. Not to free slaves.

He was a self learned man. and By freeing the slaves it

proved that his self teaching made him very intelligent.

    Really. About Lincoln.

Lincoln made extraordinary efforts to attain knowledge while working on a farm, splitting rails for fences, and keeping store at New Salem, Illinois. He was a captain in the Black Hawk War, spent eight years in the Illinois legislature, and rode the circuit of courts for many years. His law partner said of him, "His ambition was a little engine that knew no rest."

Yes. He had more pertinent experience and a more developed character.

He was poor--he split wood himself to build his cabin---remember that, glamorous pseudo-socialists----a self-made man.

He knew the old order (slavery) could not last---at least he did not shove the peculiar institution off onto future generations to deal with in the form existing when he entered office.

The experience issue is a red herring argument.

George W. Bush did not have the experience to run for president even after his first term in office.

How ironic that Obama wants to idolize Lincoln. Most people do not know the truth about either one of them. Be careful what you wish for.

I find it interesting and hypocritical of Republicans to dare point out experience when mentioning the Presidency.

Truth is, no candidate has the experience, only those who have been President are experienced.
