Have you ever heard the name....?
Have you ever heard the name "Alara" before? And do you think it's a pretty name for a girl?

Apparently Alara was a Nubian king but most people would recognize Alara as a female name instantly. Think Lara + A or Alana with an R. It's relatively familiar looking, pleasing and easy to spell and pronounce - a fairly attracive name. I think it's a little boring though. It's repetitive having only one wovel and a bit flimsy and insubstantial due to the weak consonants. However there's nothing really wrong with it per se should you like to use it for a girl child.

Um, When i saw it and i thought you says "Alarm" sorry my bad. But it sound little strange but if you want to name ur baby something different that no one have that or something totally different then go for it, if u want something sound match ur lil girl then maybe pick other 2 or 3 more names and compare them all :)

It's different and very pretty with out being freaky and you don't need instructions on how to pronounce it.
