MPV. I need your expert opinion!!?

I have £4000 to buy an MPV to carry six or seven people. Any sensible ideas for model? Also is diesel a better option in this class?

    i have zafira 1.6 club and love it

    go for diesel for better economy 1.8l or 2.0.litre
