Trivia question; Last AL MVP who was a switch hitter?

Last AL MVP who was a switch hitter?

Update:

first one right out of the box. Great bit of trivia, usually it wins a bet in a bar.

Update 2:

Rod Carew threw right and batted left. But was not a switch hitter.

The correct answer was the first one given, Vida Blue. Vida was a pitcher for the Oakland As when he won the MVP and since this was pre DH he was a switch hitter. Pretty much equally bad from both sides if memory serves.
