Non-Secular Wedding Ceremony?

My friend is getting married on Halloween of this year, and I will be performing the ceremony. I have NO IDEA what I am supposed to say. I have been searching online for any examples of non-secular ceremonies, but have found nothing. No one in her family is part of any religion and I am a non-practicing Catholic, so saying anything religious would be inappropriate. Not to mention (though I do not practice my religion) I think it would be rather sacrilegious for me to speak about god while dressed as Rose from the Golden Girls. (that is my costume as of right now. Rose or a panda bear)

HELP!! What am I supposed to talk about??

Talk about the commitment of the act of marriage. Their devotion to each other and the joining of their lives.

specific, I been to them. For the main section, they are incredibly lots comparable to a non secular ceremony, in basic terms with out the non secular component. i've got been to secular ceremonies the place a number of the travelers did no longer even comprehend that "God" hadn't been suggested. the main cutting-edge one I went to grew to become into in a backyard. The ceremony grew to become into accomplished by using the father of the bride, who had gotten a license to accomplish a wedding ceremony ceremony in basic terms for this party. They wrote their very own vows, and incredibly than Bible readings, that they had passages from poetry examine.

You can use the standard ceremony ("dearly beloved, we are gathered here today" etc); simply omit references to a deity. For instance, where it says "gather here in the sight of God", say "in the presence of friends and family"

I would stay out of this one.
