What was your favorite segment on the tv show, Laugh In?

Mine was the Farkel family. The Farkel Family, a couple with a lot of kids —all of whom with flaming red hair and freckles like the neighbor Ferd Berfel (played by Dick Martin). Head of the family Frank Farkel never questioned this fact when Ferd visited. Most plots were excuses to force the cast into tongue-twisters. Flicker Farkel, the youngest (played by Buzzi), had no lines except screaming "Hiiii!!!" Two of the kids were twins named Simon and Gar Farkel (played by cast members of different races, Pamela Rodgers and Teresa Graves). (Info from Wikipedia)

Update:

Omgosh Tom, that had to be Indian Love Call. lol You know that Joanne Worley had a great voice when she wasn't acting silly. I loved Henry Gibson and his cute poems....'ok I'm done now.' eheeee

Update 2:

Snuffy it's like eating Lays potato chips isn't it? I loved the whole show. It was great, and just on the edge back then. Would be great if we had a new Laugh In, but I'm sure in this day and age, it would be very vulgar. Seems in order to be funny now a days, it has to be rude and crude, but I disagree. I want to be entertained, not the shock factor.

I loved when Goldie Hawn would forget what she was going to say or messed up when she opened the "window box" and she got so tickled with herself. Also Artie Johnson dressed in camouflage hiding behind the bushes and says, "very interesting" in an accent. There are just so many memories of that show. Thanks for the great question !

I also enjoyed meeting the Farkel family, but really got into the misadventures of Gladys and Tyrone, the senior citizens on the bus stop bench.

I also remember one show with Tiny Tim and JoAnne Worley singing an old Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald duet from one of their movies. They were good together!

Henry Gibson's poetry, Arte Johnson as the German soldier and the wall segments were also among my favorites.

Ruth Buzzy on the bench, Bill Murray and Gilda Radner on the sofa, Jane Curtain and Dan Ackroyd debating, John Belushi "cheeseburger cheeseburger, Pepsi Pepsi" and doing the Samurai.

I loved Arte Johnson and Ruth Buzzi, doing their routine on

the park bench, and he'd say "Wanna walnetto"? And she

would slap him with her purse, as if he'd said something

    bad or insulting.

I also liked Ernestine the telephone operator stints. One

    ringie dingie.........!

I can't pick a favorite. I loved the entire show! Any segment that had Goldie Hawn in it was always great.

I loved it when the old lady (Ruth Buzzi) sat on the park bench & swatted the old man (Artie Johnson) with her purse. Her facial expressions were priceless as were his.

When the guy, dressed as an overgrown baby, always rode his tricycle, then fell over sideways on it. I don't know why that made me laugh out loud, but it did, every time - I never grew tired of watching it happen.
