Wow claiming back 22,000 pounds on their second homes?

This is 1000 pounds under the national salary average, how disgusting is that?

thats nothing..the fact that the second homes are in westminster...where prices have gone up nearly 200% in the last 4 yrs...when they sell they don't pay capital gains..u and i pay for the mortagage..they keep the house and if they sell it they keep all the gains....wonderful isn't it..makes me sick...nurses, teachers, fire officers, police etc can't afford a house yet taxpayers pay for Mps mortgages on a 2nd home..and they bang on about Zimbabwe and countries like that beign corrupt ....WTF???????

The best solution is to provide incumbent MPs who do not live in London with a state owned apartment to save on paying them commuting and hotel expenses. Their own homes are their own assets and should be funded by themselves.

Note in this story, there is no suggestion that claiming this level of expense is commonplace. Someone simply asked if these things COULD be claimed, and for a price to be put on them. £300 quid for a mirror is a bit much when they are under a tenner in Poundstretcher!

Did you expect anything less from our corrupt governement and politicians.

The 'we are all equal' policy doesn't apply to them - or should I say, we are all equal, except we are more eqaul then you lot.

Typical lying, cheating, self absorbed politicians.
