Fellow atheist/agnostic friends: What questions never get old in R&S? And on the flip side, what questions...
just need to die out?
It never ceases to amaze me how many times per day people as why we are on these boards. I mean, come on, does no one ever look at previous questions before posting?
I wish the creation v evolution questions would quit, but that's just wishful thinking.

Any question that is thought-provoking or legitimately seeking knowledge is fine with me. I also like funny questions and intentional drinking questions. But this place is getting a little boring from the repetitiveness.

These are my particular dislikes:
"Why are Atheists here?"
"If evolution is true why are there still monkeys?"
"Don't you know that (insert random "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" character name here) loves you? You should believe!"
Just about any question that begins with "Atheists: (Insert goofy question that has a common sense answer here)?"
Totally misspelled and horribly worded questions.
I really hate the ones that imply that just because we don't believe in God or God(s) we can't possibly be happy or have any sort of morals. Since when is having an imaginary friend a prerequisite to enjoying life or being a good person?
On the flip side (hah, I started with the bad ones) I do like any well worded question that makes me utilize my brain. You know, that thing between the ears that makes things happen?

I really like breaking the stereotype:
"You're atheist??? But... you're a good person!"
It's funny how people automatically get this concept that if you don't belong to a god, then you have no morals.
Despite being uneasy with the judgement of America for my whole life, I don't let it get to me as much. Because in everyone's mind- they're right.

I love the funny questions that allow creative responses.
The ones that start with "Atheists: How do you explain........" need to die out. All of those should have been answered already in a remedial high school science class.

I'm tired of the daily question about what the differences are between "Christianity and Catholicism".
Seriously... that question can be easily looked up in thousands of archived questions.

i like questions about whether free will can simultaneously exist with an omnipotent god. except i think a lot of people either don't bother reading or don't understand some of the more in-depth answers.
i get sick of reading questions that look like questions until you click on them, i.e. "atheists, would you ever..." and then "give up your evil ways and starting believing in THE TRUTH?!?"

The evolution questions, IMO, need to be asked in the science section of Answers. I do have a fondness for wagers though...if they're clever.

I don't mind most of the questions, even if it's the 500th time I've seen one. But the evolution questions belong in the science section. And the one question I really have grown weary of is ...
Athiesists (or however they misspell it), why are you here?

Why are Atheists on R & S?
Did Adam and Eve have bellybuttons?
Of course Pascals Wager is another we see frequently.
I think they keep asking in hopes of getting answers they like.

All the questions trying to point out where one side is wrong - it's a losing battle and endless cycle of hate. It just bugs me.
