What are you doing to help others and make this world a better place?

I sponsor 2 children - Evans in Haiti and Ruth in Uganda. I also recycle and donate clothing and blankets etc. to the street ministry at our church.

Everyone can sponsor a child for only $35.00 per month. I know an organization that only uses 5% for administrative costs so 95% of $35.00 goes straight to the child for food, shelter, clothing, school uniform and most importantly an education. www.childcareworldwide.org

I take care of my grandma who is disabled.

But recently she had a minor heart attack and was put into a nursing home until she is rehabilitated.

I got to visit her today and I was very happy to see her. I hope she gets better soon. =)

    *hugs*

    1. Sponsor four children.

    2. Conduct a Bible study in a nursing home.

    3. Write to lifers and tell them about salvation in Christ.

    4. Donate to "living Water" (providing wells in third world countries)

I have to decline and not answer. I do do things, but I cannot say specifically, as then, I'll break the "don't let your left hand know what your right hand does" scripture. I must not tell other the things I do for others, as then it can prevent me from getting my heavenly reward because the reward would already come from other people. God rewards what is done in secret.

What I can say is I do NOT care to live as a bad/wild girl, and I prefer to be nice and kind and settled. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, but when I make mistakes, I got to be person enough to admit to them, and work towards not making them again.

Yeah, I used to sponsor a child then decided that singling out one child was unfair. Now I give more widely and try to live my life in a way that helps (or at least does no harm to) others. Though it isn't always easy.

We each do what we can, in ways we see fit. We don't all choose to publicise it, is all.

    Peace and light.

We do what we can. We tithe each week, we do out best not to waste or take more than we need. We try to make all of our purchases based on what we need and not want (to help curb environmental and society issues.)

We share with our friends and family and neighborhoods, and we offer our time and talents to people who might need them.
