Why won't embedded pictures be forwarded!?

Almost every time I forward someone elses email with embedded photos in the body of the message, the recipient(s) get blank squares in place of where the photos should be! Really frustrating; and I can find nowhere that explains this problem!

Is it just Yahoo mail, or is this a common problem with all email clients?

C'mon... somebody out there's gotta know the answer to this!

When you forward the email, click 'Forward...send as inline text' not 'as an attachment', so it will be sent in the same way you received it.
