Is the whole mask thing real from Mission Impossible?
I am a big fan of the MI series, but I am wondering if it is really possible to create a real-life replica of someones face with a mask, and put it on to truly look like them. I seriously doubt it, but let me know.

Mission Impossible rocks! Im sure there is some type of way they can do that in real life. Or if not they probably will have it some time in the future!

I've see FX artists do facial molds of people for filming purposes. The facial structures(of the stunt double) need to be somewhat similar if not smaller than the person you are trying to make a mask of. This is due to the fact that the artist will have to apply several layers of makeup & latex(of the mold) on the stunt double to make it look real. With so many layers of mold and makeup it is unlikely for it to be pulled off in one quick swoop. So to answer your question, the concept is possible.
