I live in the Philly suburbs and all we are talking about is the riots that will come out of the city if the ward leaders endorse Clinton over Obama . . . our Governor went on television yesterday and said it wasn't worth the "tension" it would create to endorse . . . so yeah, we're concerned about it.

I hope that is not true, however, I think it might be possible.

The rioting in L.A. after Rodney King was pretty 3rd world stuff. If I had not experienced it first hand, I would have never believed it possible. After seeing and hearing the rhetoric of Reverend Wright, I know that it could happen. There are many people who have suffered much. Many work hard to try and change things, racially, and I think that the progress is there, but has been slow. But these are not the people who protest and riot with violence and looting. Some of these folks are the ones who "stir up" the people who do participate in this kind of thing. Reverend Wright is one of those people. Senator Obama's campaign alternately paints him as one of the boys from the hood and one of the "Cosby" type, middle class & well educated Americans.

It is difficult to have it "both ways", I think - and Reverend Wright's comments regarding Colin Powell, Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas well illustrate that. He does not want a successful blending of the African American culture into just American culture. He wants a revolution. If Obama is not elected, I think we might just start to see that.

I cannot speak about the Pennsylvania primary, but I would speculate that Obama's campaign doesn't make it that far, let alone is operating at the convention. His candidacy is imploding and it will take one more major revelation to send it swirling into the abyss. I don't see a safety net under this free fall, though hard-line supporters could make the convention a replay of 1968.

If history is a teacher, Yes.

Expect Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan and others of these beautiful people to show up at the party.

This continues to amaze me. I don't exactly know where his votes are coming from but where I work I deal with mostly 20 somethings african americans. The attitude about Obama is the same as it is about Bush,Hillary or Mccain. They feel no connection and seem to know that their interest won't be met regardless of who wins. Never in the History of the U.S. presidential campaigns have I heard so much about the country rioting if someone doesn't win even Al Gore who should of won. This all plays into America's fear which is a breeding ground for racism of someone who is different than what we are used to. Simply ingenious by the Clinton campaign.

Let's pray that it will only be protests. Someone could easily start a riot. Many of them have th "experience" in doing this.

If he has the delegates, then yes. I mean, the DNC has made the rules and they need to follow them. You can't abandon the rules just because you don't like the person who won.
