I have several blobs of tree sap(evergreen) on my car i have tried just about everything to get this sap off?
I have used WD40, denatured alcohol , goo be gone, and many others, the only thing that seems to work is nail polish remover. My question is, will the nail polish remover damage the paint? I have used it sparingly in hard to see places (middle of the roof) but I need to clean 2 spots on my hood and fender, which will be very visable

Try "buy and tar remover" from the auto store. It'll take anything off without hurting the paint.

if its the only thing that is working then I would use it and keep liquid soap on hand and as soon as the sap is gone wash with the non-diluted liquid soap to stop the action of the polish remover. and try using something small , like a Q tip and just put the remover only on the sap spot. That may work

The next time you get gas for the car, use one of the paper towels next to the pump. When you finish fueling, hold the filler nozzle in the paper to get some gas on the towel. Use this to rub off the sap. When you have got it off, put a little wax on the spot. IT IS GONE ! ! !
