I am sorry but your positive attitude will help you get through. And you are right you have something to look forward to with the IUI!!!! Sometimes if FF doesn't have strong evidence that you ovulated then it will put in the dotted line. You can change the settings on the way it determines ovulation. If you want it to only go by temperature or cm or whatever. It is hard to tell without seeing your chart exactly what is going on. I had a few cycles where I got the dotted line. I charted last year. My RE said it was most likely not a strong ovulation. He likes to see no dips below the coverline until AF shows. Best wishes and stay positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add: I went back and looked at your chart in your last question. I would think that you did ovulate on that day but I think FF is unsure as to where your coverline would be so that is why the dotted lines. Also you had several open circles (instead of solid blue dots) which indicate you didn't temp at the same time each day so that could be throwing FF off a little. I would say you definately ovulated though. Best wishes!!!!!

I'm really sorry about stupid AF. That's great that the progesterone worked, though! Now at least you know that when you have the IUI, the progesterone will help you keep that luteal phase longer.

About FF- I don't use it real regularly (I'm a paper girl, but I do occasionally use it to double check some things). I'm not sure why it switched it. Your first coverline was clearly based on the previous 6 temps (the 6th one was higher than the others). Maybe it recalculated by discarding that 6th number after seeing where your luteal numbers were at. Just a guess, though.

It's good news that the progesterone worked for you though! Progesterone cream just gave me the joy of having light bleeding and destroyed my luteal phase. Look at it this way. Maybe a month off will be a good thing and you can relax a bit, have your IUI in May and hopefully get your BFP! I'll keep you in my thoughts!

Yay for your 14 day luteal phase!!! Was that over the counter progesterone or doctor-prescribed progesterone?

I'm so sorry to hear that AF may be on her way. She is such a witch. I had mild heart failure when I went to the bathroom this evening and saw some light brown blood in my CM. I'm supposed to be ovulating today (according to the calendar, at least!) and I thought I was getting my period 2 weeks early. Then I did some research and figured it must be ovulatory bleeding. But maybe we were discovering our spotting at the same time? I am so sorry this month seems to be a bust but keep up the good spirits with that long luteal phase and I will keep my fingers crossed for you for May.
