If you have sex two weeks before your period is supposed to come on, will you miss that period or the next?
Me and me ex had sex two weeks before my period was supposed to come on. He ejaculated in me. It's been 3 weeks and 4 days since we had sex. My last period came on about a week ago but lasted shorter than usual. I took a pregnancy test at a clinic and it came out negative but I took one at home that next day and it came out positive. Is there a chance I could be pregnant and was my period supposed to skip this time or the next time?

If you had sex 2 weeks prior to your period, you should have missed that period if you were in fact pregnant. However, some women do still have bleeding that they mistake for their periods. If you got a positive pregnancy test, then I would definitely schedule another appointment with the clinic. Its incredibly rare to get a false positive. You either ARE pregnant, or you were pregnant and miscarried. Either way, you need to see a doctor. Just tell them that you got a postive HPT result.

Its hard to tell because i missed my period right away but my sister when she was pregnant all three times she still had her period at least two more times while she was pregnant. Honestly i think you are pregnant because the test came out positive and there's no reason for it to do that unless you are and also you said that you bled shorter, which could have been implantation bleeding. GOod luck!

What you thought was your period could have just been implantation bleeding...when you went to the clinic if they only did a urine test it could have been too soon because the pregnancy hormone wasn't "strong enough" to show up...once you get a positive test you are in fact pregnant...

Your period was supposed to skip this time. - Some women do have their periods during pregnancy, though. So if you had a home-test turn out positive, better see the doctor again.

If you had a positive test you ARE pregnant. Your bleeding was probably implantation bleeding. By the sounds of it you must be young.
