I have several problems with my laptop?

My CD/DVD drive is not working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but I can't get the drive to work to use the driver CD to restore it. Then I tried moving some photo files from my main hard drive to an external hard drive. I kept getting a core error(?). I also have a lot of trouble uploading pictures to the internet. When they'll load it's super slow. Most of the time they won't load and I have trouble just opening the photo to view it. Now when I tried plugging in my MP3 it will not let me access the library in my laptop. However, it seems to be charging just fine. I seem to be able to watch videos on the internet just fine, so that's not affected and pages load reasonably fast. What do you think my problem is?
