What medicines can I take while on the pill?
My throat is getting incredibly sore, and I'd like to get some cold medication, but was wondering if there are specific ones to look out for that would have ingredients that may counter-act my Ortho Tricyclen Lo or have other negative effects.
Thoughts?

I believe it is antibiotics that can hamper the effect of the pill. You should be fine with something bought over the counter. If you really want to be sure, call your doctor's office to see what they recommend.

Luckily over the counter medicines won't interact with your Ortho Tricyclen, but here's a drug interaction website so that in the future you can see if drugs interact with one another.

Im no doctor, so Im not 100% sure,
But I've been on Birth Control for 8 years and while on it I've taken everythiing from Nyquil to Peptobismal and I've had no problem at all with it.
I would goto there website and have a look around. Worst comes to worst there should be a number to contact them with any questions on your pill information thats inserted inside.
