Are you scared of any of your children's toys?

I am posting this after reading betwixt and between question on annoying toys and Amdy's response of possessed toys.

My cousin is scared of clowns (I know I know grr to stephen king) and her daughter had a very expensive clown ornament/toy given to her that everytime you went into the bedroom would play a little music and turn its head to look at you.

I have a bit of a fear of walking dolls (I blame chucky - lol) and will do anything to prevent my daughter getting one. They walk at me as well - all the room they can walk to and they walk to me :(

So any that scared you?

Whenever my husband is in Iraq, he send home a little stuffed camel to our son. The last one he sent is really cute, but has red eyes. I was curious about what it did, and I squeezed it and it sings a song in Arabic, in a demonic voice, while it's red eyes light up. I threw it in the closet, and it's staying there.

Lol Amdy, I may do that. Or I'll send it back with hubby to leave the next time he's over there.

do no longer! If somebody else, meaning yet another toddler (grown-united statesdo no longer count extensive style through fact they're certainly brave contained in the eyes of a toddler) rides it and has exciting, it could motivate the toddler to objective driving it too, yet permit the toddler be certain while and IF he or she rides on the toy. after all that is a toy and meant to be exciting, so making it much greater frightening via forcing or insisting isn't a sturdy decision. it could take time, and it could't be performed with stunning away, yet interest frequently wins out.

Ha! I used to collect clowns as a kid (antique clowns) and then I saw It and I still have some that freak me out.

The only toy my baby had that freaked me out was a Laugh and Learn Dog that would just start talking randomly in the middle of the night, saying things like, "You're my friend" in a creepy kid's voice. I took it back to the store.

My son has an excersaucer that had a little star that played "twinkle twinkle" in a one note melody in a high pitched sound. Well, apparently it was dying and randomly one night after he had gone to bed and I was downstairs watching t.v. alone in the dark, the darn toy started playing the tune all by itself in the corner in the back of the room. I got all hot and scared and my heart was racing fast. It kept doing everyonce and awhile. Finally, it stopped being scary and just kept going off like 10 times at a time and got so annoying, one night my mother was sleeping downstairs with the toy and see plucked the star that played tunes out of the excersaucer and threw it out the door. lol and that was the end of "The scary excersaucer". lol

  • My son has an old Fisher Price school learning thing (from the 80's-90's) and it will randomly say "Hello it's time to go to school choose a lesson." It once went off in the middle of a thunderstorm after the power went out. He loves it or else I would take the batteries out.

My daughter had an Oopsie, I Fell Down Doll, that somebody got her from Dollar General........I swear that thing was possessed. It would just start randomly laughing on its own and would pop up into a sitting position..........I blame the Chucky movies too!

I must add to your clown comment... IT scared the HELL out of me. I saw it at such a young age, it's stuck with me ever since. I cannot walk near sewer grates (sp?) without thinking ... ok I'm done. Can't go on. -shudder-

Clowns will never enter my home. My kids really like the show "Jo Jo's Circus".. and that's about as far as it will go. lol

    Good question!

Hokie -- Damn. Send that thing back! LOL

    Those were borth great questions!

My husband will not let us get anything clowns for our daughters room...he is afraid of them since he was a toddler with a room full of clowns. Haha.

There is 1 toy that I can not stand, it is a book and when it closes it says "bye bye pretty baby" its sound like a creepy perv saying it. It gives me the creeps.

My fiances grandma gave my daughter this old porcelain doll. It weirds me out. I feel like it stares at me... Gives me the chills. Other than that i usually only get spooked by her toys when I hear one going off in the middle of the night in the other room. Sometimes I think someone broke in and they are whispering! lol.

My kids have this doll that giggles, says "I love you" and makes these creepy breathing noises. I am terrified of that thing. I'm not sure how to make the doll talk. I turn it off every chance I get. That breathing creeps me out.

Toys with dying batteries also scare me. They fire off at random times! Creepy . . .
