How many of you, think that nine tenths of the pills we take , are all about the same color and size?
are any of you having trouble mixing them up, and have any hints for me?

That's why I hate Dr's. Here have another pill, they do not want to fix the problem. just the opposite, they are in bed with the Pharmaceutical co's. They do not want to bother to take the time to find the cause, just treat the symptoms.
Then they turn around and change the pill on you, after you have already paid money for the ones you were taking, you have to turn around and pay more money for a different pill. I sat one day in a doctors waiting room and watched a large # of Pharm. reps coming in and pushing their latest pills to the Doctor. Of course he had a whole closet full of Samples. So he is going to push the latest and greatest, I am sure they are getting kickbacks for doing so. Every other page in any magazine will have some add for some new drug we are supposed to be taking for this or that. They have the money to push t hose adds on us. as a full page add is not cheap and we are inundated with TV adds to just call our Dr for such and such pills. "Just call your DR." What a racket!!!!

Too many pills are the same size and color.....The doctors just keep prescribing them and the cost is outrageous......I finally found a doctor that also looks to natural cures instead of all the pills......However, I take so many every day that I purchased a pill container. There is more than one "make and model" Some are a week, some are a month and the best one is the one that covers 7 days with the day at top and then 3 separate compartments for when you have to take more than once daily. Every Saturday after my pm pills, I refill for the next week.....if I miss any I see them when I open later. They are great to keep you on track.....find one you like best.

Just for now, I will tell you this Dee. My Dad takes a lot of medications. I sit down and sit them up once a week and put them in multi-colored pill containers that I bought at the pharmacy. The package has seven containers, each container is a different color.
My Dad has to take medications 3 times a day.
I bought 3 sets of containers.
Each day I have set up a different color. example Monday-clear/white,Tues-blue,wed-red etc.
I set his medications up for Morning,3:00pm and bedtime.
By setting up for the week, it saves time and mistakes.
I am looking through the Internet for Information,if / when I find a better solution, I will edit.
If this doesn'tmake sense...email me.

I don't take pills. Diet and exercise, with a healthy lifestyle, are all that's needed. If you want to wait till your near the end, and try to hang on, don't waste your time. I'm 65, work out every day, if you want to see a six pack, I have one. None of it came from pills.

I take 3 meds a day; two are small and white albeit with different markings and one is deep brown.
Have tried several methods for telling the white ones apart....so I began taking one at night and one in the a.m. and keep the a.m and pm pills in different places.

I take two pills & a vitamin daily & I keep them in a plastic seven day pill keeper. I can keep track of taking them that way.

I agree with you , I have a container that i keep my meds in for each day of the week, .The Doctors prescribed Way too much medicine.

My daughter picked up one of those containers that keep meds in 7 separate boxes. I'm in very good health, so I only have one prescription for low thyroid. Your pharmacy should have one of the little containers. It's especially nice if you have to travel.

With my last dr, he just kept adding on one pill every time his last brain storm failed. I forgot how many. Got a new dr. and one pill works. Amazing.
