Have fun with your dishonorable discharge.

The Military in general has a zero tolerance policy. if you test posative they can do a number of things, first on the list is dishonorable discharge which in it-self is like being blacklisted for life. You will have a VERY VERY rough time trying to find not just a decent job but A job period. second they are likely to charge you and I think the minimum is 2 years confinement (jail or military prison) they are going to charge you the same as a civilian caught with drugs. Now there is a slight chance you will be able to stay in the service but not a sweet life my friend, they will send you to whatever job has no security rating and is conveniant for the military. However seeing as your drug of choice was cocain, your gonna get dishonorably discharged, which is probibly happening while I'm writing this. Your best bet is to be a man about it. admit you've done wrong and let it be known you except and deserve whatever consequences that they throw at you and you are completely at your commanding officer's mercy. Anyway not a wise decision but whats done is done, good luck to you and dont worry about it, its not your choice anymore what happens. O I think if you only get one test posative for drugs they are required to take another to make sure, so possibility there. Good luck

I'm surprised you did not have him follow the advise of the one who would actually allow him to do another test after 45 days (which was in Pennsylvania). Since that recruiter was willing to make that exception I'm not sure why he did not follow up with another test on the 45th day? There are multiple aspects which makeup the evaluation process of the MEPS, you may want to find out besides the failed drug test, what keeps your son from qualifying. There may be something noted in his file in Pennsylvania that the Texas recruiter is just leaving at a failed drug test. Have you son contact his Pennsylvania recruiter to see how to make things happen in Texas, it may just be a phone call between recruiters.

You're going to do some jail time and then be discharged with a bad conduct at minimum discharge, possibly a dishonorable one depending on the decision of the court that rules on your case! Brace your self for what's to come. When you are a civilian again it will be twice as difficult to find employment with that discharge and your credit is going to be extra expensive to obtain!

damn you got cocain in ait lol thats skill.. well first of all you are screwed whats going to happen is that at the very least you are going to have to go to drug counseling and if you are doing any job that has a secret clearance or above you are going to lose it and have to do a job that doesnt require a clearance and if they want they can send you to jail and dishonorably discharge you and all of that is at the discretion of your commander and 1st sgt. you screwed yourself kid cause even if they kick you out its not going to be a good discharge

you are DONE. you will be kicked out with a BCD , OTH or other NON Honorable Discharge. You will lose all benefits completely and will never be allowed to enlist in any branch again. Additionally, you are NOT going to be getting any kind of government job, federal or local.

Your are going to get chaptered out. Seeing that it is AIT not sure about an article 15 or other UCMJ action but while you will be pulled from school you will be doing crappy details.

First...Glad you were caught..we do not need to rely on coke-heads to defend us..whatn a disservice you would have been doing to your fellow service members that would be depending on you.

Second.... you are done......plan on getting a dishonorable or a general discharge under less than honorable conditions.

dishonorable discharge and likely some time in the brig, lay off the drugs, probably too late for that though, you just ruined your chances at a great career in the military or in civilian life.
