Your question is hard to answer accurately as jet engine thrust is measured statically...meaning no movement and you must have movement to calculate horsepower. Typically a B747-200 cruising at Mach 0.9 at 40,000 ft is producing 55,145 lbs of thrust or 87,325 hp total. So each engine is producing 13,786 thrust or 21,831 hp. This is only a quarter of rated static thrust so theoretically each engine could produce 87,325 horsepower at full power.

The power of a turbojet engine is not stated in horsepower, but rather in pounds of thrust.
The thrust of engines installed in Boeing 747s has ranged from 46,500 to 66,500 pounds per engine, depending on the model.
