Do bug zappers change the outer appearance of bugs?
I have a project in science to collect 20 bugs.
The bugs' bodies cannot be damaged for the project.
Please say so if you have any more suggestions.
Flypaper probably wont work.
I need the wings to remain attached and undamaged.

If you live in an area without frost right now, Hang a sheet out at night shine a light on it (Black light if you have one) Have the sheet taper off into an empty jar. Check the jar or sheet every hour, you're sure to get your quota in 1 night. Cap the jar and freeze it. The bugs will freeze to death.

It chars/blackens their bodies I suggest getting a roll of fly paper/fly tape they hang down from the ceiling and trap flying insects, you could peel one off carefully and it'd be in better shape than one that went through a zapper.
