Aftermath of American Revolution - Were Place Names Changed?

I find it odd that names of cities and towns were still named after British royalty. Were any geographical names changed after the Declaration of Independence?

    I heard of statues of royalty being torn down but no cities or towns that I know of were changed.

    I'm sure there were a few small changes made but not many, even though America became a free country they still had great respect for where they came from and if it didn't take forever I could list out the places that retained the orginal name...
