separation of church and state just means that religion could not be a part in leading this country... it does not mean anything about prying in schools or anything like that all it means is we can't be a religious regime like Iran

I think it is a good idea. Religion shoudn't play a part in politics or school. It should however be used when making your own decisions about something.
There are too many religions in the states to have the church and state run smoothly together and that is why there needs to be seperation.
