How would you politely turn someone down when they say?

Politely? Ask them the name of the song, then say you've already heard it, and it's way cool! Little white lies can save you a possible doctor bill!

Just say no thank you. Or take the drink and enjoy, guys who send drinks out in a bar know there is a good shot they will be turned down and usually send out a few each night.

You could fib and say you have an earache, or just listen to it without putting it in your ear - holding it away.

Say 'thank you very much'. Take the ear piece, wipe it on their shirt. Spit on it a few times, wipe it on their shirt. Now it's clean and can be used.

If it's a pretty lady, I'd swallow the bitter pill and listen and pretend to enjoy the music. If it's a guy I'd say "are you crazy, Mr. earjizzz????"
