When is the best time to visit Florida?

I live in FL. I would say March, April, May, or October or November. That's when the weather is most moderate. Really depends on the year. I would even include December, but it's gotten down to 10 degrees here in the past. The worst times would be January-Februrary, and July-August. The first is pretty cold, and the second really hot and uncomfortable.

It depends on what you really want...

If you want to avoid tourists...

Mid August-Early October.

To experience Florida weather at it's best...

Late May-Late August. Peak being mid-June thru early- August.

The Gulf coast is a better bet than the East coast. The gulf stays warmer longer and for the most part attracts less " younger hip crowds" .

It better weather, has lighter sand and clearer water.

It's just a matter of what type of trip you are looking for...

for a " wilder, youthful trip"- east coast Florida.

For a secluded, laid-back trip- your best bet is the Gulf coast.

Have fun and make sure to pack sunscreen no matter what month...uva/uvb rays always a risk:)

If you are going to North Florida or the Panhandle, go between April and September. If you are going to Central or South Florida, anytime of year is nice, but spring is probably best.

the winter is nicer but the number of tourists is also much greater and therefore the prices are much higher. If you go in the summer, it is a bit more affordable if you can stand the heat. Of course, its hot in most of the rest of the country during the summer so the heat there won't seem as bad.

I say anytime from June thru September.
