Play off question?

We will say the number one seed wins first round. Do they then Play the winner of 4 vs 5 or do they play lowest remaining seed in their conference. Me and Nips argueing won't say who think what, just that he is wrong.

    Detroit, the #1 seed in the West played SJ, the lowest seed remaining in the second Rd

    The lowest seed and highest play ether other. Both the rounds work the same way.

    The seeding is reset after each round. You are correct.
