They still have some world class bats so are capable with or without him, though obviously he makes a difference!!!

While the absence of Sachin will be a huge gop for India, I strongly feel that since India got a very good batting line up India can still manage to win the matches in the absence of Sachin.

I think it is a very short-sighted look. If Team India is worrying about winning or losing just by the absence of one player, then it has bigger worries to handle than just the absence of Sachin.
Moreover, please remember that Sachin is not immortal and will retire soon.
If we think he's the sole contributing factor towards the results of a match, then Team India better pull up its socks & groom some young 'uns.
Aus was still able to win WCC & many other matches without Brett Lee, isn't it? I think Team India should not take this 'missing-sachin-will-make-us-lose' approach coz it's very unsportsmanlike & very discouraging. With all respect to Sachin, team should play and win irrespective, coz it's a 'team' sport, not an 'individual' sport, and Sachin is NOT indispensable, no player is.

Yes, We will still win. This is what team India is all about one goes down another comes and fires. We are not lacking talent. We only get in trouble when Sachin is IN team and not scoring big total. But IF he goes out then some one other opner(Expert) will come and take his place.

The CB Series proved that Sachin was pivotal in the victory.
However, no one is indispensable. And the youngsters can bat well. Only thing, they are all injured and out for the time being. Also hoping Sourav will do his bit. And make up if Sachin is not there.
India will manage.

The absence of Sachin will make a huge difference. It will cut our chances of winning by 20%.

Lately you have seen India fail whenever Sachin is dismissed cheaply, with him being either seriously hurt or just cant play will jeopardise the Indian Team greatly

cricket is a team game. No one is above the game. India had great players like Gavaskar, Kapil Dev - but some one came to replace them and we did win matches. Likewise someone else will replace Sachin

India has won a number of matches in which Sachin was not playing or he was out cheaply.

Yes.We can still win.We have proved this a lot many times before and there is no problem at all.We have many terrific players like Yuvi,Dhoni,Gambhir,Sehwag,Rahul,Sourav,Pathan,Rohit,Uthappa and this is a great batting line up.We can win without sachin. There is no doubt. But if the batsmans I have mentioned fail to perform well all in a same match, then we would lose.
Yes.We are depended a lot on sachin. He is the legend of the world cricket. But we can do it without him!
