When LaVolpe was the coach....he was under constant fire from HUGO and now Hugo is getting a taste of his own medicine!

SO LAVOLPE....Talk all the crap you want....I want you to talk crap about Hugo and make him feel like he made you feel and show him that Mexico is a team that needs to participate in every completion available!!

But I dont agree that you should come back as the DT of the National team!! You took your son-in-law when he was in the bench the whole season with Cruz Azul....give me a brake....I hope you dont come back aswell!!!

well, I agree on all he says except that the DT has to come from our football.. In Mexico, it's the same groups of DT's pretty much all the time and come from the same schools los Lapuentistas, los Lavolpistas, etc... if we refer to the history, one of the best Mexican national teams was the one of Mejia Baron but that was a product of the effort, time, preparation and way of looking at the futbol of Cesar Luis Menotti... I think bringing somebody from outside will enrich our futbol and provide and more "neutral thinking" that what it is now.

Raul Arias is good but not sure if we will ever be as good with a National team. Lapuente had his chances and I don't think he's got what it takes... long time he wasn't even working as DT... and Efrain is still making a name of himself, maybe for the next period is ok.

Also I think Lavolpe is treating Hugo the way he would have liked to be treated: pointing out the issues without actually "harming" the person, something Hugo did on Lavolpe's time. Being Lavolpe like that, speaks tons about him, someone with class, sometimes ihard to find in an Argentinian ego.

He gots all power to say it! it is true, he did win the Copa de Oro, did go to the Confederations, and did qualify to the olympics......only one thing, besides winning the Copa de Oro they got humiliated by Brazil in Copa America, they ended in 4rth place in Copa Confederaciones, and in the Olympics they went sight seeing instead of actually trying to play, not to mention that this past world cup was one of the worst played by mexico, only one win!!? n-e who....

Well I'm glad LaVolpe spoke out about Hugo. I agree with everything he said. Que lastima que la sub-23 wont be able to have the Olympic experience.

I think his style was way better than Hugos..... He kept all his promises.... and in my opinion, if Guardado wouldnt have gotten injured in da beggining of tha game vs. Argentina, Mexico wouldve won, and wouldve been World Champ.... Lavolpe in my opinion planned the game vs. Argentina way better than Peckerman did..... it was just the individual quality of the players that made Argentina win........

its true though, la volpe has succeeded where hugo has failed. cant argue against that.
