Should immigrants begging and selling big issues be asked to leave.?
We already have enough parsites in this country without taken in more. A whole family take it in turns to sell big issues in my town. One week the mother sells them where I live and the next week she goes 20 miles up the road and so on around the north east. There is always one of them but only for the week then they swop.
Standing on street corners begging people to buy a rag is NOT working for a living. When you work for a living you actually contribute something to society ask the million or so polish people who all work in this country. In my local job centre there are 600 jobs unfilled.

Your point about selling the Big issue is irrelevant as in my mind they are at least trying to make a living.
However, I know what you mean with regards to the people begging and it is disappointing as you'd think they'd have some sort of plan before coming here. I don't want to judge but i have noticed this is a bit of a pattern amongst Romanians inparticularly. You are right about the polish - they come here to work hard and make money and i often wonder why so many Romanian people are so often seen begging on the street with their babies in hand and different members of their family littered around town begging in different spots in the town centre. If polish people are working hard then why aren't these people?? It makes me sad as it doesn't have to be this way. I just wonder why they come to the UK if this is the life they want. Apparently though, through begging in the streets of the UK they make more than they would ever make in Romania plus they are able to claim benifits here too so i think their mindset is, what's the point? They have a much better standard of living here than would ever be possible in Romania so why work?? I could tell them that it's a better option to work as they will have more self-respect but i doubt they'd listen to me. Who am i?? I am someone who grew up in, what they regard in their mind, is the promised land - how could i ever understand what their life was like in their country when i am from a seemingly rich and prosperous country? Personally, we need to blame the government, they are the ones who opened the doors to everyone in the EU so we need to put up with it. It's not nice but unfortunately we ARE going to get the wasters because even though we may not like it, the truth is, they do not need a visa to come here.

What is the difference between someone standing on a street corner selling the Big Issue and a newspaper seller on the corner of a London street selling The Standard? They are both earning a living! You probably (like most of the population) have immigrant ancestors so if they had not been here, where would you be?
Also, if no immigrants should be allowed to come here and make whatever living they can, why should English people be allowed to travel and work wherever they want? I'm sure many Spanish people and those in France are fed up of English immigrants.
We have far more of our own spongers than immigrant spongers coming in. Many immigrants contribute enormously to our economy and quality of life - ie, corner shops open all hours, various take aways, throughout the professions - nursing, doctors, lawyers etc. The difference is, they come here for a better quality of life - we move abroad to get more sun!!

The only way to stop them from coming here?
If the government stop BENEFITS.
We are the laughing stock of the world.
You only have to watch/read the news on a daily basis to see that Britain is getting screwed and Labour are letting them do it.
WE have enough of our own who sell the big issue, we don't need to import them to sell it.
Also I believe that the majority of the immigrants can speak/understand English, they just choose to play ignorant, thus costing extra with translation services.
If they don't work and contribute to the TAX pot - SEND them back.

Believe me, anyone, not just immigrants, have a tough time selling Big issue and the bulk hardly seem homeless, do they? In Brighton, they sell it all morning then straight to the pub at lunchtime! But your sentiments are acknowledged .... we're all fed up with the Governments stance on immigration .... for god's sake, we're only a little island!

print out a few of those job advice sheets from that local job center and hand them to whichever family member you come across.
your suggestion is quite unsavoury. nobody is going to send "big issue street selling parasites (bissp)" anywhere!. certainly not a human being.
you need to worry about that guy who sells white and weed to little kids. rather than reciting institutional xenophic nonsense. better yet i dare you to put your money where your mouth is and make a legitimate public consencus. you can actually do that.
don't reply.i'll just delete it. i won't read. but go ahead

Good question, I have been meaning to ask the exact same question myself. Also why do they say "thank you" to me when I do not buy one?
They are a drain on the UK economy and the UK is not a charitable island for the whole world

If they come here to beg: Yes.
If they are doing it due to a brief financial problem: Let them do it.

Yes. If that is the best they can do, ship them out! Time we had Britain back to being British!
