I want to be a trend-setter..but what trends should i set?

In my school, people wear the sandals with one strap across the foot like adidas sports sandals, and then crazy socks.

Haha, it's pretty interesting.

Then my one friend began wearing these really adorable legwarmers from abercrombie, and a lot of people are beginning to wear those. They're sort of a cream knit.

girl, you are not setting trends! All of the things you listed (as someone else said) have been done to death by scene kids. Starting trends comes from doing something that YOU think is cool, not asking other people what you should wear.

high waisted jeans with ruffled tops tucked in

wear really wild skinny jeans: plaid, striped, etc

shorts with tights underneath

gladiator sandals

stars and stripes on clothing

wear nonprescription black plastic framed glasses

if you want to start a hair trend try whitish blonde short blunt bob haircuts

fedoras

wear tons of yellow and bright prints- thats big for spring

leg warmers

my friend also rolled up her jeans to her knees and wore 2 different mismatching socks that were high- everyone thought it was great

hi!! well besides my own i can advice you to just be and stay unique thats always good ...i also like all types of trends and would wear anything but i really love to do pigtales on my hair , wear suspenders with some of my jeans,always have all color of shades to match,i wear knee high ssocks/stockins with my jean skirts and boots ,and i also wear very light but cute and natural looking make up with lip gloss and i glue extra small rinestone that i wear on my nails from the corner/edge of my outer part of my eyes straight to my hair line..it looks hot not too much and no one has it..u glue it by dabbin a bit of eyelashes glue and pick em up with tweezers and glue them u might do straight across or just do one ..try it and let me know what reaction ss do u get and if u like? ok either way best advise u can get is to always be ur unique self ...

haha thats not trend setting, all those things re like HUGELY overdone by all the 'scene' kids. following a trend isnt setting a trend lol.

if you want to set a trend, you have to wear sumthin no one else wears, and make it cool. hundreds of ppl wear 'scene' stuff, new varieties on that does not constitute a new trend lol

Try dressing modestly. That will be the biggest change in school trends since the 70s

when being a trendsetter you have to wear stuff different from everyone else. that's how trends get set. try shopping at different stores, different from where most people at your school shop.

In my school everyone is dying there hair and getting bangs. also lots of people have donated their hair to locks of love. Another cute thing is flats with skinny jeans. And nearly everyone goes to garage and american eagle.
