Are McCain's supporters & Republican's embarassing McCain? Had to send memo to stop "overheated rhetoric"?
"McCain Campaign Walks A Fine Line On Obama Attacks":
http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/03/mccain_...
"Then this week, McCain’s campaign manager, Rick Davis, wrote a memo to supporters asking them to cool the “overheated rhetoric and personal attacks” on the Democrats. "We expect that all supporters, surrogates and staff will hold themselves to similarly high standards when they are representing the campaign,” Davis wrote."
Are McCain's supporters and Republicans embarassing McCain with their "overheated rhetoric and personal attacks" on Democrats? Are they causing harm to McCain's campaign with their disreputable conduct?

McCain's personal rhetoric is even worse. He constantly makes HUGE mistakes of military understanding that the media let him get away with.
Only last week, McCain ONCE AGAIN said that Iran has been supporting and organizing Al QAEDA in Iraq.
Considering that Iran is a fiercely Shiite country, and Al Qaeda is a fundamentalist Sunni organization that considers Shiites to be just as bad as other 'infidels' (and wants to establish a Caliphate that would force Shiites to convert to Sunnis), it is completely UNBELIEVABLE that McCain would make such a preposterous statement.
And he still keeps calling all the people fighting us in Iraq 'Al Qaeda', even when our own military says that Al Qaeda in Iraq has NEVER accounted for more than 2% of the people fighting us (this has been documented in numerous military reports).
It shows that McCain really has no understanding of what is going on in that part of the world.
McCain's own rhetoric shows he really doesn't know what's going on in the Middle and Near East, but he gets away with it because he was a POW, and the American public buys it because they don't understand that FIGHTING in a war and UNDERSTANDING a war are completely different things. McCain is a former warrior who doesn't really understand wars.
I don't know about you, but I'm scared of people like that getting 3am calls in the White House. McCain's rhetoric is actually FRIGHTENING. Even Dick Cheney never says what McCain does!

No.
The fact that McCain has instructed his campaign manager to straighten these zealots out speaks volumes about the type of campaign McCain wants to run - and even more about his character.

To answer your question;
No, I am a private individual not affiliated with the John McCain campaign, therefore I am entitled to my opinions, much like yourself.

woah... wouldn't you be asking this about Clinton or Obama's supporters before McCain's?
People from all parties say stupid ****... it doesn't mean it is what the candidate actually thinks. I mean, if McCain went to this guy's church, it might be a different story...

McCain is not fit to be president. He lost my vote, the vote of my family, their family, and their friends and friends friends. I have made sure of that.

No. One of Obama's foreign advisor stooped to calling Hillary a monster. And she's supposed to be a professional. BTW,the New Black Panther Party was recently removed from Obama's website.

No. Obama's supporters are much more embarrassing people than McCain has around him.
Louis Farrakhan, Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright...Do you call those people honorable people that make Obama look good?

I think Obama's supporters defending Wright's comments are an embarrasment to themselves. So much for the uniter.

Well, as long as the media loves him (which they do, this is partially the reason the sheeple love him) then it doesn't matter.
