Looking good-Do we do it for our partners, strangers or for ourselves?

Keeping our hair in good condition, clean bushes (pubic hair), nice skin, shaving, good taste in clothes, nice teeth, clean bodies ( all over), looking good generally.....is it for ourt own well being, for our partners or to attract anybody passing?

thats a very good question. most likely many people do it to attract others, to make a statement, to show off or my reason, which is just to feel good and clean. maybe to show off, at times ;)

Humans naturally perceive themselves in the eyes of others. Part of it is to attract someone else but the other part is to make the other person see you as "looking good" so you can bask in the fact that someone else thinks you're "looking good".

I have a mate who does it for himself to feel good. He also gets alot of attention because he looks good but it is for him. I try my best to compete with him and to feel good. Others, who are a bit shallow only groom to get sex so do do not always like how they look ( who on earth wants to sahve their pubic hair?) but they sacrifice their individual choices for sex.
