I agree with wildflower on the magnetic field theory. Our heads always face north.
I was born south of here in Texas, so I guess your theory holds true in my case as well!
Sweet dreams!

hhhhhhhmmmm, i never heard that! i havent noticed any difference either! but sometimes when i wake up in the middle of the night and i cant sleep i lie on the other end of the bed and i go straight to sleep!
how does it work? is it the way your feet were facing during birth? how would i know that? i cant remember and it depends on what way the room was facing and where the bed was, id have to go back to the hospital and ask them!ahah! or go back in time and ask my mam!! dont see thatr happwneing any time soon! not unless your on the brink of a major scientific breakthrough!haha!

I also agree with Danny Dix. I was born with my feet up as the widwife told my mom it was the feet first. No, unlike Danny, I was smacked at the right place (makes me believe if you get smacked at the wrong place, you'll grow up to be a fun-loving person). Now back to your question, I really don't give importance where my feet is oriented when I sleep. As long as I'm comfortable with a certain position, that's fine with me.

the head of my bed faces east and i was born west of where i now live. so i guess my feet are facing west. but when you walk in a room and look at a bed, you usually face the head and that is the direction it is facing. so, what you really meant is not which way your BED is facing, but which way your feet are facing. in any case, i always have insomnia, so i don't think it really matters. (obviously, since i'm typing this at 3 am)

I've heard that it is healthier to sleep with your head facing magnetic north and your feet facing south.
Do a search for "magnetic healing" for more information.

My head is to the North feet to the south. I was born North of here.I thought everyone was supposed to sleep head to the north because of magnetic field of compass.

Currently my feet face west--I was born northwest of here. I used to sleep facing south.
I don't seem to get better sleep any particular direction, but I find changing it every couple years really helps. I like to rearrange my entire room, it's refreshing and cleansing.

I just rang and asked my mum about this, but she said she didn't want to talk about it, and besides, (she said) I was still grounded from something really baaad I did the day I was born.
Most babies get a smack on the bum when they are born.
Seems I got a smack in the face, cos she said just as I was being born,............
I looked back.
Yikes !!
