If Michigan and Florida lose their delegate seats at the Democratic Convention, is it really a fair race?
Millions of people's voices will not be heard if the delegates aren't counted.
We got shafted, yet again, by our own respective governments.

Michigan and Florida should not have moved their respective primaries up before getting the endorsement of the DNC. They are the ones that made their own bed. If a redo is out of the question because of expense then the only other viable solution is their delegates are not taken into account at the convention and the number of delegates needed to get the nomination should be adjusted down accordingly. Nothing unfair about that and it is still been a fair race.

If a way is not found to seat the delegates from the states in question at the Democratic National Convention, I foresee a long drawn out court battle.
As I have said before, Dean stepped in it big time with this decision. He made a threat that he never thought he would have to follow though on. Unfortunately for the voting populace in Florida and Michigan, he did.
You cannot disenfranchised entire sections of the electorate without expecting severe repercussions. Personally I look forward to the court battle, because it will set new legal precedent which will hopefully restrain some people from engaging in political "pissing" contests in the future.

Fair in accordance with the rules the DNC put in place yes. The question is was it fair for the DNC to strip all delagates. Some blame the republicans for changing the date, but again, why would the DNC strip all delegates for something the republicans did? DNC looks bad in this picture.

No, but thats about par for the course. They should just let people vote, hell with caucuses, delegates, electoral college,etc.. Just tally up the votes, but that would make to much sense for our government, plus I'm sure their making money by doing things this way

its not totaly these two states fault..the government as a whole should set one standard for all states to follow during the primary's..florida had a problim with votes during the last election...i also believe this is all carried on for to long..we dont need all these super tuesdays from various states..i understand bunching up the smaller states with the biiger ones..we need to have these preliminary's closer together,..maybe we will have less trash talking and the candidates will spend more time with the real issues...

Their delegates never had seats because they choose to move their dates and new what the consequences would be. So quit sniveling and blame it on the state caucuses.

yes, because even with Florida and Michigan Obama will still win the nomination of the party.

The voters in those states should be mad at the people in their states that made the decision. The state should come up with the money for a re-vote.

Millions of people had their chance and could not seem to wait until their designated time, so they lost their vote. Seems fair to me.

It's too late Democrats were told their votes wouldn't count and many registered Republican so their votes would be counted, to change that now and exclude them would mean law-suits.
