When has AKP and its supporters been so democratic?

Once upon a time, they would think it was a sin. The democracy, the science, the USA, even Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Of course, i dont mean all AKP supporters.

Well, now, they fell in a great love with the first three one. Maybe, sometimes they make positive comments about Atatürk and laicism, but, they dont and cant love Atatürk&laicism as much as the democracy (in words) especially in recent years. You know, their identity, view and thoughts are just like a top spinning and spinning. And AKP was brought a suit for its illegal actions to turn it off like a bulb which is also their symbol. Now, they are all shouting "democracy! democracy! the public has chosen us. democracy!" as if we are playing a children game, and these comments are to stop turning off action. Pathetic, isnt it?

What i wanted to ask is can the democracy be an excuse for their undemocratic and reactionist way of thoughts and actions? When did they become so democratic?
