take a microwavable bowl and half fill with water

cut a lemon/orange or lime into 4 pieces and put in bowl

cook on high for 15-20 mins ensuring there is always plenty water in bowl

the citrus in the steam will leave your door wipable

and your home will smell fresh and clean

if it doesnt just wipe away add a little vinager to the cloth,

put a coffee mug about 2/3 full of white vinegar into the microwave and heat for about 1 minute 15 seconds or until it is very hot. Allow to sit about 10 minutes or so and then wipe away the funk. It will kill bacteria as well as make the nasty surface wipeable. Repeat for any that did not come off the first time, you can even use the same white vinegar. Allow to air dry with the door open to allow the moisture to escape.Once it dries, it will have killed all the germs and odors and even the vinegar smell will go away once dried.

If the natural remedies (baking soda mixed with lemon juice and water or a water- filled bowl in the microwave and the oven turned on for a few minutes, to steam the grease off, etc) don't work, you could try this:

Take a bounce fabric softener sheet soaked in water, then use the soaking wet bounce sheet to scrub with and voila! it's all gone--this works on soap scum on glass shower doors and baked-on crud in roasting pans, too.

They also make products safe for glass and metal, called Soak- off and Barkeepers Friend, for burned on grease, etc, for stoves, pots, pans, oven racks, etc, that might work for you.

    Good luck.

Put some baking soda on a damp rag and scrub. It will remove the grease without damaging the glass.

try nail polish remover, then rinse it off with rubbing alcohol, then soap and water.
