super smash bros. brawl selection screen?

It's because you haven't unlocked all the characters.

You need to play The Adventure Mode (Subspace Emissary), and as you go along, you unlock people you wouldn't have unless you played. There are also hidden characters you need to find in special "hallways".

Or you could have looked at fake pictures.

But don't worry man, just play and you'll see that you're edition of SSBB is fine.

Well, by "Wii Edition" I'm guessing you mean that it's not Super Smash Bros Melee or Super Smash Bros.

You just haven't unlocked all the characters yet, the organization and amount of characters changes as you unlock more characters. You'll notice this as you progress in the game.

You just need to get the rest of the characters and it'll look more "normal." There's a cheat if you wanna sit near the TV on a laptop for entertainment, a way to pass the time or something and just keep on pressing the start button for like an hour or two... it's easier to get characters that way but Subspace Emissary is more fun. The one from your rented version is fine. I've seen tons of fake character select screens and i know their fake because they have people like Darth Vader in them. And, if you want to see all the characters, go to super smash bros dojo, then to the character section.

Im assuming you tried this already yet placed the surely disc in and attempt booting from that. i recognize that style of defeats the completed purpose of a gentle modded wii yet when the disc itself would not artwork then the priority is with the game and in no way the approach. even if it truly is the approach then i'm at a loss as I have had no themes like that myself.

but my best guess is you have to unlock all the character tht im pretty sure u havnt done so theres going to be a lot less then in the pic you probably saw

well right now most of the pictures are fake 2nd of all it is only made for the wii and is the only SSB series made for the wii and gets bigger when you unlock more people.
