Hi, I'm doing some homework and I'd really appreciate some verification on some answers I've chosen, because I'm not 100% positive about them.

-1 reason that early civilizations sprung up in the Tigris-Euphrates river valleys is... periodic flooding left soil rich, making it suitable for farming. (rather than settling here for protection from land invasion)

-As civilizations formed, womens' status... Declined.

-The early civilizations that sprung up along the Tigris-Euphrates, Huang He, & Nile all had in common... fertile soil, natural waterways, & mild climate to encourage transportation & communication.

Alright, so I have pictures on my Sony Cybershot DSC-H3, and they're saved to the camera's internal memory card. I need to upload these to my computer, but I don't have the Camera-to-Computer USB cord to do so. I do have an SD card that can fit into both my computer and camera however. Is there anyway I can transfer the photos from the Camera's internal memory to the SD card by use of the camera? Or possibly any way to remove the memory card from the camera so that I may be able to do something with that?

So, I was playing basketball against this kid today, and I usually beat him. Today, however, he decided to use his size against me (He's a 5'11, 300 lb offensive lineman, I'm a 6'1, 170 lb quarterback, kinda big difference.) Every time he got the ball, he would sort of ram into me until he got close enough for the lay-up. How do I play defense against him? He's too big to reach for the ball when he's dribbling, and the way he rams me isn't exactly charging, it just makes me stumble a bit.

The last, edited word in the verse is a 5-letter slang word, starting with an "N", referring to a black man. I'm sure you can guess what it is, lol.

So I was checking in on some families while I was playing The Sims 3. And as I was doing this something happened, problem is, I don't know what that "something" is. I went back to my favorite (or "main") household after checking on those few, and I noticed something really odd. Okay, so far the household has only had one member, who is A MAN (this is important information), we'll call him Jack Smith. And now, there is a second family member. A baby boy that has the same last name as Jack (we'll call him Bobby Smith). See Bobby recognizes Jack as his father, but he doesn't recognize anyone as his mother. No one at all. He recognizes his Father, and his half-siblings. No one else.

How did Bobby come to be?! Was Jack abducted by aliens and impregnated? The baby isn't green, so I'm not sure. Did Jack bone the maid? Maybe, but why would the baby live with Jack and have his last name? There's a female ghost haunting Jack's house, who I had him WooHoo with a while back. Is Bobby the son of Jack and the ghost? Is that even possible?!

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I want Nintendo Wii to be changed To Nintendo, or at least a new category for Nintendo Handhelds. It seems we lose a lot of questions to Video & Online Games or Other - Games & Recreation. Playstation includes the PSP, so why shouldn't the DS and Gameboy go with Nintendo?

But that's just me being a nerd. =P

I'm sure I am not the only one's who's heart nearly stopped while watching the "The Legend of Zelda: The Hero of Time" April Fool's Day trailer.

It was awful to say the least, and I was extremely relieved to find out it was a prank, but I started thinking - I've been wanting to see a movie of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for a while now, but what would I want that movie to be like?

Definitely nothing like that trailer!

-Link should actually wear what he does in the games

-Zelda shouldn't look older than Link

-It should copy the exact storyline of whichever game it follows.

-It must have *amazing* special effects.

-I'm not opposed to newcomer actors, but they must be *very* talented.

-Ganondorf shouldn't look like a monkey-lion hybrid.

I don't want to end up with two aggressive dogs attacking each other. (or worse, one aggressive dog attacking a weaker one)

I'm thinking of only doing one dog at a time from the beginning, and seeing if some dogs are gentle enough to add another one to the route, but then again, the new one could be aggressive. (argh)
