Who had "cool parents"?

Mine are pretty sweet, my dad is half whacked out from Vietnam and my mom is an old hippy. They've always been there for me so no complaints.

I consider my parents anything but cool, particularly my father. I can't deal with him at times, he just seems like such a child. I'm only 15 and I think I'm at a higher level than him, maturity-wise. He's fairly annoying as well, some of the things that come out of his mouth are just...wow.

Well, I still live with my parents and my friends come over my house all the time because they love my parents...so I'd say my parents are pretty damn cool for putting up with me. Haha.

I would say they were very cool looking back. They taught me to be a responsible for my behavior, and they gave me a love of music. They did not let me do everything I wanted, but I managed to sneak a few things past my father. Usually, there was some price to pay! (Hangover comes to mind.)

I moved out at 16. my parents werent cool

my parents are total dorks. and they are not cool at all! but thats what i love about them. most cool parents aren't cool at all. SOME of the " cool " parents TRY to be cool which makes them not cool at all. lol hard to understand but that kinda made sense :)

Not I, my dad was pretty neat, but not always around and died when I was young. My mom was neglegtful, verbally and physically abusive when I was young and kicked me out of the house at age 16. We have not spoken for almost 20 years and she has never made any attempt to contact or reach out to me.

So, no, not I.

I have a cool mom. I can tell her anything even if she doesn't like what I'm saying she still listens. I can almost do anything I want only because we have trust. I love my mama!! lol

My parents are amazing. I never had to lie to them about anything and all my friends come to my house because they love them and consider them their 2nd parents. They are loving and accepting and encouraging. I would wish my parents on anyone and everyone. They are the bomb.com.
