That will never happen. Ever. In fact, I fear for the future of this country after hearing this question.

I never thought it was dying out. It really was about how much people were willing to either silently be racist or how overt they wanted to make it. People on here are so insensitive, inconsiderate, and rude to one another and for such trivial things. The American value system was built upon the fact that people from all religions, nationalities, and whatever else could live here and peace, and what happens? People just hate each other, and I think Y!A is an accurate portrayal of what people think but don't say. It makes me sad that people are so intolerant of each other when they do not believe the same thing. Tolerance and the freedom to believe and do what you want is the point of America and people are losing sight of that. I still think there's hope for my generation.

I sort of hope that they do make a texting dictionary because I don't text(never have & never will) & I have no clue as to what most of you kids are talking about. But I do agree that it would be sad if it does come down to that. Can you imagine the spelling bees? They would be so easy!

You're talking about text messaging language and yes, I think it hurts the English language (which ever variety of it that you speak)

No. Most people were illiterate before this century began, and most people will continue being illiterate when this century ends.

I hope it's just a fad, and will fade away. America's future is already f*cked up. That will only make it worse.
