i was just wondering is the american express platinum charge card only invitation only or can you apply for it?
also what does it take to get the american express platinum charge card??? is it based on credit history? or is it on income? what score do u need?

Nope! You can apply for it just like the green and gold cards. There is a higher membership fee associated with it though than the others. It's based on credit score probably 700 or above and income and other stuff! Hope this helps!!

It is not by invitation, but you do pay around a $400 annual fee. It is a good card if you travel, it will come with travel benefits.
