is this funny or true apologizes to my American buddies?
A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an American.
She asks her students to raise their hands if they were American too.
Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks.
There is, however, one exception. A girl named Kristen has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
"Because I am not an American."
"Then", asks the teacher, "What are you?"
"I'm a proud Canadian," boasts the little girl.
The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Kristen why she is a Canadian.
"Well, my mom and dad are Canadians, so I'm a Canadian too."
The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?"
A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Kristen, "I'd be an American."

10. Besides Switzerland, we're the only country to have a cheese named after us 9. We have 49 awesome states...and then there is Michigan wanting more taxes to drive away more residents! 8. No matter where you go, a parking ticket is waiting for you in every city 4. If the French don't like us, we must be doing something right 3. When asked what language we speak, there's always a large percentage that say "American" 2. We have a dialect that confuses most of the world... who needs 3 different spellings of 'their there they're' 1. We have driveways where we park and parkways where we drive Although this may be the case, I am proud to be an American because we are able to do such things as this where we make fun of the way we are. America is a country that was built on a foundation of trial and tribulation, and the country only succeeded to become a powerful nation as a result of the hard work and determination by the original settlers. I place a high value on every aspect of our American society; if this were not the case then I would not be able to state that I am proud to be an American.

that was good but i like to replace canadian with sharks fan and american with either ducks, stars, redwings, kings, or oilers fan. haha im so obsessed with hockey.
