How do I strike a soccer ball without putting backspin on it?

I can cross and bend, but am having trouble with shooting. I am shooting with my laces, but the ball still has backspin. Why is that? I want it to have no spin or topspin.

i think that if you dont kick the ball, from under it

like at horizontal, or almost near on to horizontal. you could be really dodgy and toepunt the ball too, but that can lead to broken toes.

to put it a differnt way, if the boot/foot connects with the ball with perpendicular angles then it minimizes the risk of any spin

or, just practice...alot and corners are always the best for shooting, bottom or top.

.Before you shoot tap the ball a little diagonally away from your foot.To shoot without spin, strike the ball in the lowest accessible point with the part of the foot you bend the ball.Hit the ball powerfully, without using the technique you use for crosses. You can piledrive the ball by hitting with surface of the ankle sideways or perpendicular to the ball.
