I am driving from Grants Pass, OR to Sacramento and am considering whether to take I-5 through Mt Shasta/Shasta Lake or go via 101 and stop at Redwood National Park.

Which do you recommend?

I am going to be in Sao Paulo for two days (Friday and Saturday) and my hotel is in Itaim Bibi. I am male (6', 180lbs) and will be by myself. I plan to do most/all of my sightseeing during the day time. How worried/paranoid should I be about safety? I know the general guidelines about not carrying money and belongings, but do I have to worry about violent crime or muggings at all?

Also, is this a nice neighborhood as far as things to do?

Is there a site that shows all the shirts over the years (primary, away and third shirt)? For example, if I wanted to see what Juventus or Chelsea jerseys looked like in 1994 vs. 2001 vs. current, etc. Thanks.

I was reading some economic and policies posts on redstate.com with a few interesting perspectives (you have to train your mind to dodge all the interspersed anti-democrat venom), but is there a liberal alternative to this site? I like the format, where people can post their opinions as well as post on message boards.

Hey guys, I have a small starter tank and am new to fish. It is only 2.5 gallons, and I started out with a couple great guys - a fancy goldfish and an albino cory catfish. They both keep to themselves and play well together. I was thinking of adding a third little guy because there is still a lot of room. What do you recommend? I have a big filter on the tank, but no heating source except the incandescent bulb and no oxygen source except the fresh plants. Any other good low maintenance, friendly fish I could put in there with them? The fish guy at my local pet store is totally worthless! Thanks everyone.

My old GPS could build routes for me based on traffic, but I had to get rid of it. I can't find a website online that has that feature. There is a bunch of construction in my area, so I would like to be able to get a traffic optimized route home from work. Any ideas? thanks.

I can cross and bend, but am having trouble with shooting. I am shooting with my laces, but the ball still has backspin. Why is that? I want it to have no spin or topspin.
