Biodata as others have suggested is your personal details.

Assuming you are applying for jobs in U.S. industry jobs need a resume and jobs in colleges require a curriculum vitae if you are applying for a faculty position. The terms are fairly close, but curriculum vitae is more detailed than a resume and lists all your publications(if you have any) for being considered for a faculty position. Resume is condensed and bio-data means only your personal details.

These three are more or less the same.

    Bio data : personal details.

For industry jobs: Resume ; condensed

Jobs in colleges / Universities and educational centres : curriculum : lists all Thesis es and publications etc

Whatever be the dictionary meaning as a recruiter and as a candidate it has same connotation.

Simply put all of them are synonymous to a write up about the candidate giving details about -

    qualifications

    work experience

    hobbies / interests

    references

    family background
