Is the Democratic party taking the high road in not prosecuting the Bush administration?
As the list of prosecutable crimes by this administration grows, is the Democratic party acting in the best interests of this nation and transcending partisan politics for the greater good (i.e. let's just get these ay-holes out of here and fix the country while there's still time)? Or, are they shirking their responsibility and leaving the door open to future rogue administrations? What is the right thing to do?

It's not time yet. Once there is a Democrat in office they will have the power to move forward and no one there to pardon everyone. But if they don't start taking action beginning January 21, 2009, I would say at that time we got screwed by both parties.

What are your sources for this so called list of prosecutable crimes? The democratic party only acts in it's best interest. This just seems like more dribble from people who don't take the time to research their information.

The "List of crimes" is completely imaginary on the part of left wing nuts first off.
Secondly, if they were able to make these make believe charges real, half the democrats in Congress would be looking down the barrel of a long prison term, right next to Bush.
Hell Bill, you would probably have the cell right next door.

I don't know whether they would prosecute if they could. The right thing is to hold people from both sides responsible for all their actions and force them to bear the consequences of their actions. This is not an option in most cases, however. A slim majority (not enough to override a veto) in Congress, combined with expanded Executive powers and an ultraconservative majority judiciary means the Dems' hands are pretty well tied.
The majorities of both parties cannot even see the high road, let alone take it.

Are you kidding?
It shows their lack of confidence in Pelosi!
With Bush and Cheney out of the way, Pelosi is next in line. If she took over things would be so screwed by October that they wouldn't have any chance of winning with the poor excuses for candidates that they are running!
Stratoframe,
Be careful what you say about high school kids! You may chase off half the Democratic Party supporters.
Barrack and Hillery are counting on them to elect them!

Since none of the so-called "crimes" can be proven by hard evidence, the Democrats don't want to embarrass themselves during an election yeat.

Oh, stop it. Even Nancy Pelosi is trying to keep the nuts in their shells on this one.
There are NO prosecutable crimes.
Get over it.
Some of the looney-tune-left keep popping up with impeachment resolutions and Nancy sends one of the cooler heads over to drag them outside for a good talking-to.
Even Nutty Nancy knows better.
No, the Dems are NOT "transcending politics."
They're investigating every mouse in the house on steroids if they think it ever ate a piece of GOP cheese instead of getting any work done because they would rather save everything to use for partisan political purposes in their own re-election campaigns and to challenge GOP seats.
Waxman would investigate his own mother for political gain.
Why do you think that Congress has an 11% approval rating?
Less than HALF of Bush's!!!
They have retired the A Hole trophy.
The "right thing to do" is get rid of the stupid fool Democrats.
They have made a mockery of Congress - and THAT was really hard.

Yeah. Sure thing. How's the weather in La La Land? Can we like, pool our funds and purchase you a ticket back to reality?

We have been hearing this same tripe for the better part of 7 years. Yet nobody has yet to roll out a single charge. If the democrats actually had a charge on which to impeach Bush or any other republican official, they wouldnt hesitate to file it. The fact is it's just an ongoing useless rant from a group that has repeatedly demonstrated its political impotence. Put a steak through its heart and move on. Find something useful to put your effort into.
